Description:
The Gran Bahia Principe Akumal All Inclusive, fronted by a beach of white sand and in some sections, of rock, lies between a green mangrove jungle and the turquoise water of the Caribbean. It welcomes families, couples, and singles. Holiday possibilities exist for group activities or solitary rejuvenation. Beach and poolside sundecks blend into one another, providing a large area for sunbathing on lounge chairs or napping on hammocks beneath thatch-roof palapas. The main swimming pool is interlaced with palm trees and greenery, and offers spa tubs. The powdery white sand and rock beach extends a kilometer (more than a half-mile) in length past this resort and its neighboring sister resort and slopes to meet the Caribbean. In parts, the sand extends inland as far as 91 meters (100 yards).
