This oceanfront resort lies along one km (a half-mile) of white-sand beach fringing Akumal Bay where a coral reef protects the water, keeping it calm for swimming. The resort offers daily activities, including non-motorized water sports, evening stage shows, and a kids' club that offers pool games, arts and crafts, and other activities for children ages 4�12. Guests can browse the weekly souvenir market held near the Akumal Bar every Sunday evening.
